Prof. John M. Reynolds, MD of RGSL, attended the ICE Awards ceremony in London as one of the co-authors of a paper* published in an ICE Journal which was awarded the Manby Prize for 2007. Each co-author attending the ceremony was presented with a certificate^ (PDF) and a cheque for £100 by the President of the ICE. The paper described the detailed integrated geophysical and geotechnical investigations undertaken for Crossrail and the Docklands Light Railway for their respective planned tunnels beneath the River Thames at Woolwich, London. RGSL is engaged as geophysical consultants to Geotechnical Consulting Group, London, on behalf of Crossrail.
